Our Story
S & S Consulting Group was founded by Jerald Sheets, a seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure automation, and DevOps consulting. What began as a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges has grown into a trusted consultancy serving organizations of all sizes.
As a Puppet Certified Professional (certified in both 2014 and 2018), Jerald has spent years at the forefront of configuration management — designing, deploying, and scaling Puppet infrastructure from hundreds to tens of thousands of nodes. This real-world experience informs every engagement we take on.
We're deeply committed to the open-source community. As active supporters of Vox Pupuli — the collaborative Puppet community modules group — and contributors to the OpenVox project, we believe in the power of community-driven development to shape the future of infrastructure automation.
